What we don't cut
What we don't laser cut: we only cut the eight sheets on our price list. The lists below cover what we won't do, so you don't waste time on a quote.
Materials
- Mild steel thicker than 5 mm.
- Stainless steel thicker than 4 mm.
- Aluminium PA11 thicker than 4 mm.
- Thicknesses not on the price list - e.g. 2 mm stainless steel or 3 mm aluminium.
- Copper, brass, titanium, coated or galvanised sheet, plastics, wood, plywood, glass - they are not on the price list, so we don't quote them.
Shapes
- Shapes without a closed contour.
- Parts larger than 3000 × 1500 mm.
- Parts smaller than 10 mm.
- Shapes with more than 5,000 points.
Files
- Images with no clear outline, such as photos and gradients. A sketch, line drawing or logo can be traced into an outline in the converter.
- Bent or milled 3D models (STEP, STL, OBJ, 3MF) - we need a flat pattern, and the converter explains how to make one.
- Photos of the finished part.
Services
- We don't do bending, welding, threading or painting - only cutting.
