Cut It Fast

How narrow a web can be

A web (the strip of material between two cuts) is the narrowest part of the sheet between a contour and a hole, or between two holes. Between two holes it has to be at least as wide as the sheet is thick: a narrower web may burn through or warp while it is being cut. Between a hole and the edge of the part we ask only below 1.5 mm, whatever the thickness. We check this after you choose the sheet, because the limit between holes depends on the thickness.
